yeah i agree

I work in IT and ive lost all my respect for the non technical managers that get into IT. Help desk still make us use IE6, the CIO talks this and that about web 2.0 while there are squat all programmers here who know how to even program web technology here. Also development methodologies are slow and heavy and stuck in the 1980's. But I do think that apple's history shows that the amount of applications(i think now up to 60000) will pale in comparison to the amount of applications developed by other platforms such as windows or android. Apple has always been niche, will always be niche, and as long as Steve Jobs is in charge he and woz created apple to be niche because that is how they wanted apple to be from the start. Niche = probably not successful for general business.
