Let IT wait-- as long as I can have it now!
Saying they are waiting is rather meaningless. They didn't say they wouldn't be deploying Windows 7. And there's nothing new about waiting 12 months or SP1. It just means these guys are doing their job and planning their migrations with precautions. They got to CIO of F500 companies by doing things smart.

In the mean time, I'll be cruising along quite contently with Windows 7 on all my personal computers at home! In fact, I already work from home about once a week on Windows 7. Take that silicon.com!
