When will the world figure it out?
You have a super computer on your desk, use it! It is faster and more way more productive then web interfaces. Not to mention keeping your data safe on your own computer. Use client software to access remotely, very little band width required. I am not saying web interfaces and software are not useful, just wake up and smell the productivity lost not using the best tool for the job.
