That actually sums it up best
THis last paragraph is perfect:

"I've been running Windows-less for the past 6 months, and frankly, I get along just fine. I had just as many troubles getting stuff to work
on XP as I had to get it to work on Linux. "

And that sums Linux up perfectly. Just enough to get along and once you get down to it, absolutely nothing gained in terms of actually using your computer. Seems to be the general concesus - I can't wait to switch...
