It's a good thing no one here seems to know what: real high end is - they'd be as insulted (ears and sensibilities) as I am.

$1K for speakers is only mid-fi at best.

ZDNet should leave audiophile sound to The Absolute Sound and Stereophile - where they know of what they speak.
