Klipsch, the good ones
No one who has ever owned the Cornwalls will forget them. The bass response is tactile, from before the days when subwoofers were ubiquitous. And all of that was so efficient that a clean 40W per channel amp could rattle the doors. Although the horns need equalization to the room, it is worth doing, or even having it done, as an equalized Klipsch Cornwall is a joy to hear.
Mine are 30 years old, but live on, even with a chunk taken out of the front wood frame.
If I only had a house big enough for Klipschhorns....
