On the same note, who will buy a car which needs an oil change, spark-plug change, air-filter change, and oil-filter change regularly? Well, technically they don't all need to be changed regularly, but they at least need to be checked regularly and if they aren't you could end up with all sorts of things broken.

On the other hand, an electric car would only ever need to have it's battery/ies changed, unless something bad happened like a motor going out(the equivalent of the engine dieing), the transmission break(if it has one), or the computer dies(most cars have computers already).

Really, until we get more efficient batteries(smaller, longer lasting, higher capacity) pure electric cars aren't meant for people who go 100-150 miles non-stop in a day. I'm sure there are some cars that could, but if you're going to go that far, I guess you might as well buy a tank anyway.
