Need for Trustworthy Science & Information
IF (and that is a big IF) we can trust that the public is being accurately informed of the results of scientific research AND IF the research is truly being done in an unbiased manner, then I am with you. We can be the odd couple out here!

However, it is significant to me that Al Gore DID NOT receive a Nobel Prize for ANY scientific field!!!

I do not trust the media. I do not trust the politicians. I trust some of the science I have read; I do not trust the majority I've read. My belief, based on the research I've been able to do, is that the politicians and media are trying to use environmental scare tactics to enable bigger government and less freedom in our lives.

Have you read Michael Crichton's "A State of Fear"? It is a good expose on the topic. Also, check out the "Douglas Report" at:

http://www.douglassreport.com/reports/global-warming.html?gclid=CJ6X7KeYo5oCFRk_awodNh6G9w

There are many other, similar sources -- on both sides of the issue.

We are being lied to; why?

If someone can point me to accurate, well-reported science, please do!

In the meantime, I'll conserve where it makes sense, financially, for me to do so.
