- AC in EVs
- Having driven an EV for 6 years, I can tell you the heat and AC take a lot of the pack power. Heat can be either heat pump (reversing the AC) or resistance heat, which uses more. In cold climates, it can cut range in half. In CA, more like 10% penalty.
