How can they possibly justify giving billions upon billions of dollars to bloated pigs like AIG, and potentially bailing out chrysler and GM (and maybe ford) who just want to make garbage like hummers and suburbans. And don't forget about killing the EV-1! And here we have Tesla, a company BEGGING to make the cars of the future. The government should be bringing them dump trucks full of money to build as many factories as they possibly can. Forget the big 3. Bring on Tesla. I would buy one of these today if it was available.
