The problem is ...
neither candidate is very attractive. I am sure that both are fine men with fine families. But both have their areas of blindness, Bush on economic issues (the economy is fine, etc.) and Kerry on national security issues (Iraq was better off with Sadam, etc.). I do rather expect that Bush will win simply because people are more concerned about national security than they are about the economy at present. This means that over the next four years we are likely to see the divide between the upper middle class and the lower middle class stretch even more while the national debt continues to grow at unstainable levels. In the end God will ordain a leader and in this perilous world and time, he will need our prayers in order to have any measure of success. Whether it is Bush or Kerry, we can only pray that he will open his eyes and see reality once he begins this term in office, for if he doesn't we will all suffer for it, the whole world.
