Yes, at one time there was a reason.

But that was well before the same information became freely available via the internet. I can "surf" the net and get all of the same information in a matter of minutes and at zero cost to me or the company.

To everything there is a time, Comdex's time has come and gone. There really is a reason the attendance was but a tiny percent of past shows, the smart folks have figured out there simply is no reason unless you need an excuse to get out of the office for a few days...
