- Yep, as reported by ABC News, these "liquidation sales" are exactly that. They're not bargain, per se, but merely for the liquidators to get as much money out of their investment: it's the liquidators not Circuit City which now owns Circuit City and they intend to get as much out of the public as possible. Liquidation is a huge business.
