I am sure that you are here on an H-B1 and so you are doing a bit of bragging.

Your co-worker who needed a specific amount of time for a project was not necessarily complaining because he did not want to do the work. Did it ever occur to you that perhaps he wanted the time to do it right? Just because you can whip out some code in record time doesn't mean that code is perfect. There needs to be time to debug, test, and debug some more. The urgency to get things done cheap and fast without proper testing is why so many software applications crash.

As for your experience and the dubious idea that people are beating down your door-get real. They are looking for cheap labor and aren't as impressed with you as you are with yourself. I hate to guess at your nationality, but you write like you worked in Bangalore for a while. If you want to really be "American," go get some REAL English lessons and stop writing/talking with an accent happy
