- RE: (Test drive: Windows 7 on a Netbook)
-
I would like to because:-
Windows from the onset was tollerable only becase I used Ghost and was able to return all the 9xs back to pristine, sometimes this was a frequent exercise in futility and meant backups to an external source were critical.
The love of my life, an ASUS Eee running XP home with a grade 6 SD card permamently in the slot to which I save everything and a Sony external DVD drive, Every time XP home falls over the rescue disk quickly restores Two little Ghost images and I'm up and running faster than it would take to figure out what was wrong with XP.
Windows 7 is Microsofts Last chance to keep me, having suffered their OSs since Windows 3.3 right up to Vista on my main machine, the little Eee has been fun and should see me through until Google or Linux provide an operating system which I can call stress free.
