Great idea but....
My only problem with this type of "flying car" is there is no backup. Like a helicopter you have a single point of failure. If something goes wrong, your going down like a stone.

At least a airplane can glide a bit.

This is sorta like a personal jet pack only with blades to make sure your dead.

Very cool idea, but I wonder how cops will pull over flying cars in the future? Personal jet packs I guess!
