- He's probably already flown the car.
- Remember, it's not the propeller that provides lift, it's the airfoil. Given the lift efficiency/glide ratio of modern parachutes (about 20-1), I would be more surprised if it DIDN'T work...and with that having been said, I would think adverse winds and weather would be far greater issues. If weight becomes an issue, I suspect that the problem would be more about being able to hoist aloft the weight of the FUEL required for such a long journey, more than a problem of lifting the weight of car off the ground.
