Christians can believe in evolution
I know the comment about not being able to use Evolution (an email package) if you are a Christian was a joke, but the underlying idea that all Christians don't believe in evolution is misinformed.

Jesus specifically says that the old law of the Old Testament is overruled by the new covenant he brings.

And Paul calls a major Old Testament story that everyone of his time took literally, an 'allegory'. In other words, a symbolic teaching story that may not be historically true.

So if you are going to believe the Bible 'literally' you have to believe that you cannot believe the Bible literally.

Being a Christian means you keep your mind open to new ideas. "All things are new." For a Christian, truth is more important than any particular belief. Beliefs are just placeholders until you can know the truth.

Being a traditionalist and an Old Testament literalist are something separate (and for some people perhaps even conflicts with) being a Christian.

I know this may sound like I don't have a sense of humor, and perhaps even that I am offended, but I do and I am not. I'll enjoy the pile on that follows....

That being said, the few times I have installed and tried to use Open Office, it seemed to be missing a lot of features that I use in Office applications, and the lack of an integrated email client was the killer.
