Years ago Sun bought StarOffice to beat Microsoft with
StarOffice has evolved into OpenOffice and is reducing the bottom line on Microsoft's core products for Windows. Horray! Still, this article shows Sun doing a pretty good job of sabatoging OpenOffice's chance of success. Obviously, Sun has lost its commitment and sight of the goal.
