Exactly my point. You wouldn't expect a convicted murderer to go ahead and meekly submit to being executed while his appeal is in progress, would you? Such drastic penalties are always delayed while the courts review the cases.

True or not, Microsoft is arguing that the proposed penalties are drastic enough to be stayed until all appeals are finished. That is for a court to decide, which is what Microsoft is asking for. How is that not letting the judicial system do its work?
