The weirdest computing disasters of 2008

Come on, ZDNet: Um. Not only is this is basically just an ad for this data recovery company, but a lot of these "weird" disasters are incredibly mundane. A wildlife tracking collar was damaged in the wild? What an incredible shock! A dog knocked a USB drive off a coffee table? Alert the media!
