RE: Benchmarks: AMD's 45nm 'Shanghai' Opteron: AMD is still behind but no longer by a mile. If AMD can cover that much ground quickly in what is characterized as a highly-optimized die shrink instead of a new architecture introduction, then Intel's got a fight in its hands all too unexpectedly.
