There are always some Criminal out there trying to rip off a buck, as IT people our job is also to Educate the nieve and document if necessary, but if the individual goes ahead and gets scammed, the next step is have them pointed to the local law enforcement agency.
A good spam filter is the wisest thing, thats seems like how we do the job, protect on line to a point I am disputing these rumors thru snopes.com during the election campaign.
