Are you sure you're not the idiot?
First of all, the person looking at you isn't looking at your
face (which is blurred out), just a black and white image of
your body. Black for any possible weapons. White for flesh
and skin. This is not disrobing in front of the entire
terminal, either, but being scanned by a scanner, and sent
to a guard half the airport away, who will NEVER see your
face, or you in person. If I can be GUARANTEED a safe,
secure plane ride simply by standing in front of the
backscatter scanner for 15 seconds and having my naked
ass sent to a guard, I'm more than happy to comply.

This is not a porno. Google the backscatter to see what the
guards see. It's nothing they haven't seen before. Plus, we
get to keep our shoes on! No more hassle with that!
