RE: Intel slams ARM for 'slow' iPhone CPU
actually Arm is the manufacturer, BUT Intel does produce RISC (reduced instruction set computer) based CPUs.
My old man still has an Acorn Risc-PC which is about 18 years old & for web browsing it out performs his IMac.
So a 1.6ghz 1gb ram Imac is beaten by a 233mhz 128mb Acorn.
