I read the word Pakistan
Wouldn?t it be great if you guys (if so concerned to make your opinion public) reached out to some Pakistani blogs or people in chat rooms, on Facebook etc. to find out what we think instead of relying on the TV channels that promulgate stereotypes for God knows what end.

I am from Pakistan and happen to be a Muslim also. We celebrate Christmas here in Pakistan it is not banned here at all and I see no reason why it should be in the UK. My personal trainer is from Kenya and he is a devout Christian? we are good friends. My accountant is a Christian too; he is around 55 years old? I respect him and treat him as I do my uncle. I could go on and on. One interesting fact is that about some time back the Christian community in my city had a peaceful protest about the Da Vinci Code, when the movie came out. The Movie was banned. Also the documentary on the Da Vinci Code by National Geographic was blocked nation-wide as well as the one about the Gospel of Judas. Though you might call us 3rd world, we understand here that the majority has to take care of the minority.

My point is that its not Muslims that are backwards, it?s that we don?t have enough education in the 3rd world countries. So here people would protest if you said something about Islam and the Christians would protest if something was said about them. Having said that, it?s quite ironic and I am not sure which is better. You guys over there talk about human rights well we focus more on human feelings.
