The Province of Ontario...

... is preparing legislation that would ban the use of all electronic devices while driving, be it cell phone, PDA, laptop or GPS. New York state has had a "hands free" law for several years and the Province of Qu?bec has just enstated theirs.
I agree that the cell to the driver's ear is far more serious a threat than the rash, but one wonders if the pendulum may not be swinging too far? It's debatable if the current language in the bill will allow the driver to use the car radio, but at this time it appears not. I bothers me when it's necessary to legislate common sense.
