I believe that the built in redundancy (it being subject to the "non-replaceable battery" life) of the Ipod is a disgrace in these days of so called green enlightenment. My 12 year old has his on constant use and/or recharge mode and whilst he continues to excel in his sport and academic achievements I am happy for him to continue using the Ipod, but not happy about its longevity. But as usual, what can we (realistically) do as consumers?
