- A complete stuid move.

Hi,
Same opinion here.
Although I do not think kids should not have a PC, my wife is a teacher and all teachers we know have the same opinion:
At that age PC's are only good for playing.
Educational Software is very scarse and sometimes not adequate.
And even older students, say until before University, they use laptops Mainly for Playing and chating, and blogging and ... well everything but Study ...
It also emphasizes the Gov disregard for investment in education, as you may know all programs like The Magalh?es and e-escolas (another program to provide an extended payment for PC's to kids at school) that are meant to provide pc's "supposedly" to improve education are payed by the use of private 3G operators services.
Meaning actually the Gov is not putting any money on the program.
It is really Shameful ! A simple propaganda maneuver !
Regards,
