A computer is a tool, not a puzzle for geeks.
How many people in the world are computer scientists, or even just your good old fashioned Linux fanboy computer geek?

Well we know that Linux is used by <.01 of the worlds population, and of that some are probably just users of Puppy linux et al, so it's a very very small number. So why do you linux fanboys always think kids need a computer to learn programming or systems architecture or whatever? That is just ridiculous. 99.9999% of people use a computer as a tool to learn and engage with others and for pleasure and entertainment. 99.99999% have higher aspirations that linux fanboy computer geek, can't you understand that? There are thousands of real professions in the world and computers are a tool and nothing more. Quit the crying about all these kids being deprived of learning to create their letters to friends using vi. OMG is that funny.

And you yourself claimed that Microsoft is a monopoly. So that automatically means all programs work with all software produced. period.

monopoly (me-n?p?e-l?) noun
plural monopolies
1. Exclusive control by one group of the means of producing or selling a commodity or service.

There are no exceptions in the word "monopoly".

Now you can get back to writing better programs faster with vi than can be done with Visual studio, we're all SO proud of you. wink
