This is the business model Gates has been pursuing all along. It follows the cable TV model almost verbatim.

"Software as a subscription", coupled with M$'s virtual monopoly (pun intended) ensures that MicroShit becomes the DEFAULT 'public utility' for the next DECADE, if not longer. No one will be able to buy or sell without the mark of the (Ballmer)beast...

It ain't brain surgery. No one ever mistook Gates (or Ballmer, for that matter) for being tech geniuses. But there's no denying that Gates, when it comes to Marketing, plays the game on a WHOLE DIFFERENT LEVEL from the rest of the field.

And scruples (or lack thereof) have nothing to do with it...Never have, never will.

Obi-wan-Obama, you are our only hope....

Cut off the M$ dragon's head and be done with this foul beast once-and-for-all...Otherwise, all hope is lost. 25 years is plenty long for the world to have put up with M$'s 'reign of error'. Remove this greedy monster from the world's techno landscape, and make way so that innovation and ingenuity can once again flourish across the cyberscape...
