RE: CIOs not taking a shine to Chrome
No kidding. CIO's should not take a shine to anything
that is Google based. The Chrome browser is very
alpha quality. It shouldn't have been released at
all, but this is Google we are talking about and they
could care less about code quality or the user since
all they want to do is play with office toys all day.
When the back button doesn't work you know there is
something wrong with the browser. The other thing is
that these CIO's know the Google history to stop
supporting products and services after 6 months. They
can't build an infrastructure on that, they need to
look at the long term.

CIO's need to be aware of Google's very deceptive EULA
that basically stated they would own any content used
in the browser. This alone should steer any CIO away
from this company. I'm sure Google didn't limit such a
clause to just Chrome, more than likely its on all of
their services.
