Better read the fine print...
Have you ever read and UNDERSTOOD the fine print for ANY Google product? It is all right there in black and white.

Knowing what Google's terms are for using their products -- no C-level executive with even 10% of his brain intact would let Google touch ANY intellectual asset in a corporation.

With one face, Google stands for censorship -- supporting the Chinese government and most recently the UK government by banning videos on youtube. Even their AdWords and AdSense programs are tainted with censorship based on the PERSONAL values of the founders.

With the other face, they divulge personal information including YOUR SURFING HABITS to whatever government agency asks in the right way -- and they CAN do that because they RECORD EVERYTHING you say or do on-line -- even to the point of buying your clickstream data directly from your ISP.

I won't even go into the incredible and heinous privacy-invasive policies upon which the company freely operates. You think you get anything FREE? Think again.

I only wonder what kind of goodies are 'baked in' to Chrome that aren't so readily seen. Even the Google Toolbar "phones home" through an encrypted connection -- care to guess what it is saying?

Think Chrome won't do less?
