The sad thing is

You probably believe that. The company I work for has been outsourcing to India for years. Every year we keep thinking we'll see improvements in quality. Every year we're frustrated. Maybe the company you work for is a different story, can't speak for that. All I know is in my experience the Indian mentality of "good enough" is no where near the standards our clients hold us to. So we have to keep sending work back for corrections only to get it back and find something that was fine in the last version is now messed up, meanwhile the schedule keeps slipping.

I'm sure you believe the reason for the outsourcing is the uneducated/unqualified propaganda corporate executives are spouting. That doesn't explain why companies lay off the workers doing the job so they can outsource the work to India. The real truth, whether you want to hear it or not, is greed. That's why middle class America is falling further behind while corporate CEOs give themselves million dollar bonuses as a reward for their cost cutting.
