Silverlight will be a success as long as Microsoft
sticks with it. This is an area where competition is
flourishing. I would expect to see in five years that
Flash, Silverlight and Javascript have each carved out
a solid chunk of the market, and I wouldn't be
surprised to see one and maybe two additional strong
players in the market. We should all hope for this
kind of competition in every vertical software space.
