RE: Five reasons Chrome will take over the world
...You're all idiots. I hate technology "journalists". If they were really worth their salt they wouldn't be journalists, they'd be technical professionals.

FYI to all journalists/idiots reading this, HAL (the Hardware Abstraction Layer) is what makes something an OS. The OS is the layer between the hardware and the software. Usually the low level stuff is written in assembly or C.

Simply moving from threads to processes is very trivial. Anyone (Microsoft, FireGerbil, Apple, etc.) could have done this at any time. There are disadvantages to using processes (additional overhead in memory and CPU wasted managing the processes).

Basically all Google did was take a crappy old version of Safari and upgrade it. Impressive? Not really. Noteworthy? Definatly. Anything Google does is noteworthy because of who they are.

But it's also worth noting that we've already discovered Chrome vulnerable to old Safari attacks. Google should have thought of checking for this. ...Actually it was very STUPID of them to not check for that shizzle.
