I didn't read the patent mainly because I was to lazy to read over the legalese that these use. However, The patent owner seems to be sue crazy. If he doesn't make any money on his products, he just sues a bunch of companies. He has a fail/safe program going for him. He will settle for a cash settlement of the suit of collect on the licensing fees. It appears almost like legal blackmail. His company brings in millions of dollars as a result of his lawsuits for patent infringement. Not a bad deal.
