Patch issued for Ubuntu security flaw

Today's (8-27-08) Patch: I received a four part update today. Was the mentioned patch part of it? I check for updates every few days and have the auto notify set to check daily. Whereas MS makes you wait until Patch Tuesday to protect your systems.
