Happy for the competition
IMO ever since Adobe bought Macromedia they have been drastically changing the way developers have to create apps and content in Flash. With CS3 they have come out with an inferior/flawed product but added a few treats to make it seem worth switching.
Personally I am happy to see MS competing with Adobe because now they will not have a monopoly on the market and will have to actually work to make something of higher quality standards - or lose profits - which is the way it should be. I am going to be looking into Silverlight for sure.
