It's going to be a short fight
Flash is so technically inferior to Silverlight in virtually every capacity that it is already dead. Real developers have avoided web development (effectively ceding it to the html weenies) as the web has always been a truly horrid development platform. Now that the real developers have a real platform to target, you're going to start to see some real applications. The olympic web site was just the beginning (and despite the functionality, a mediocre one at best.)
