By the way, I use UNIX, Linux, FreeBSD and Windows XP (and I like it). That doesn't mean there aren't issues with Windows. You should be able to turn more stuff off, and remove it from the system (or replace it). More fine grained APIs should be public. Just saying it's as secure as anything else don't make it so.
