The IT industry is constantly promoting its continual innovation. However the actual level of useful innovation is actually very slow.

However the industry wants to sell us more product so has to keep recycling old stuff and pretending it is new and exciting. In many cases the industry is actually regressing to already outmoded and obsolete methods. Is this crazy or what?

More and more the IT industry is becoming the way the car industry was in the seventies, bad quality products, loaded with features, none of which work properly. The IT industry is long overdue for a good "Toyotaring".

Sadly at present I have no idea where this will come from.

Technology is definitively not moving quickly and the disadvantages of bad software far outweigh the "advantages" of the trivial new gimmicks we are continually forced to suffer.
