Agreed that the first two paragraphs could have been worded in a less suggestive way. If you only read the first two paragraphs (of a four paragraph story) you would come away assuming that Apple had paid the actors.

In paragraph 1: 'When Apple rolled out its iPhone in the USA ... In Poland, people are getting paid to line up'.

Paragraph 2: '"We have these fake queues at front of 20 stores around the country to drum up interest in the iPhone," a spokesman said.'

They should have clarified that last bit with "a spokesman from Orange said".

It doesn't seem like particularly mistrusting or paranoid behaviour to assume that there's some sensationalism at work in this article.
