And lest I forget
Such a camera would be exactly like the "bionic eye" in the book "Cyborg" by Martin Caidin that inspired "The Six Million Dollar Man." In the book Steve Austin's replacement eye was a camera, not a visual aid (sorry, couldn't resist).
