Competition Could Help
In all respects, I would hope that this has a chance, but yet, the iPod brand is huge at this point and the majority are oblivious to the problems it has. Apple, like always, treats Windows users as second rate still, I mean, look at iTunes! I have a decent new laptop, but I can't play one of my downloaded TV shows in iTunes without it having a clunky playback, yet I can open it in Quick Time and it runs rather well. Does that make sense? Also, how much of iTunes utilizes DirectX anyway? The software seems to run slow in many respects for the Window's side, and the company is oblivious to this. All of this is off topic now, but honestly, I think this could have a chance as Amazon's store gains some footing.
