First what is SPAM
SPAM like weeds is an email we don't wish to recieve just as weed is a plant we don't wish to have grow in our gardens.

Now the problem here is that computers don't know what each and every individual wants or doesn't want in thier in-box. To make things even more frustrating, we humans are not consistant. What was SPAM yesterday may not be SPAM today. For example lets say I've been getting email for used cars but I'm not buying a car so it's SPAM but then when I'm in the market for a car that email may no longer be SPAM.

The biggest problem I find with SPAM is I get so much of it that even if I was interested in a legitimate sales pitch via email I'd miss as I don't waste time reading email from people I don't know. SPAM abuse has killed any legit reason for it being there.
