OS/2 was much better
Much better than any DOS. Where it failed though was in price. It was like 5 times the price of DOS. OS/2 Warp was even more expensive. I remember Windows 95 and OS/2 Warp. $35 for 95 and $360 for OS/2 Warp. I still have copy of OS/2 Warp, it was a great OS. It was more in line with what NT 4 was but 10 times better. No apps and suffered pretty much the same problems Linux does today except that Linux is free.
