Someone please read this and tell me your opinion
Well the launch of windows 95 ( or is it 98 ) is a grand spectacle. We should be proud of Bill Gates doing it in a true indian maharaaja style. I Dont think that he is againest open source. After all all open-source developers are those who didnt get a pie in Microsoft's fortune ( Not my words. Its a popular belief in India .... sour grapes ). According to Indian software professionals, open source movement is started by techies who are ignored by Microsoft. So far there is no evidence to contradict this view. So, I think its true. Thats why Bill Gates may be contributing for AIDS in India. For te moral support Indians extend.

Anyway, Microsoft had the last laugh. Got its profits and enjoyed very much for 2 decades. All MCPs and MCSEs are treated to royalty in India, maybe in the US also.

I couldnt find a good 2+yr exp PHP programmer in India, but I got hundreds of 5+ yrs ASP programmers when I advertised for a web project. I think the admiration is mutual.

What I mean is when Indians are admiring Bill Gates so much, if some others are criticizing him it looks liks a case of sour grapes.... what do you say.........
