RE: Bill Gates bids a teary farewell to Microsoft
Bill Gates will be remembered in eons to come as one of the most successful corporate executives and contributors to society. In the free enterprise system, the primary responsibility of a corporate executive is to increase shareholder value, and how many executives have done as well as Mr. Gates? Also, I don't remember commodity computing before Microsoft. Please hold your outrage, as I speak from actual experience: I've been in the computer business for the last 40 consecutive years. Thank you Mr. Gates. Take a bow for a job extremely well done. Besides, nothing is ever really ever free unless it is stolen.
