Sad day for IT...
We had a moment of silence here for BillG today. At noon, I had all of the Exchange Servers rebooted, all of the Unified Communications servers rebooted and all of the security doors rebooted. People were forced to sit and contemplate the meaning of BillG to society and the evolution of communications. Just like "Hello Watson" started the phone, the "Start Button" started an IT revolution that continues to this day. My rep is picking me up in his Porsche soon and we are going to a BillG testimonial dinner for "whale" Microsoft accounts. There, we will be given a retrospective look at BillG, from Windows 1.0 to Windows Vista. Like a fine wine, BillG got better with time.
